Pillars of Africa (POA) is a youth-focused platform anchored on corporate sustainability i.e growing POA’s financial value by enhancing social equity while taking care of the environment. The POA Strategic Plan, titled ‘Every Youth, A Story’ – is focused on three main goals to be achieved by 2040:

• Uplift 1 million young people through POA platforms and related activities
• Reduce POA’s environmental footprint by 50%
• Generate average turnover numbers as planned

The 500-Million-Stories (5MS) Campaign is one of the platforms designed to fund the POA Strategic Plan. This plan will also be financed by operations surplus, as well as through special vehicles such as the Africa Social Infrastructure Fund (ASIF).

Each of the approximately 500 Million young people in Africa has a story. And by providing each one of them the necessary infrastructure and a healthy dose of inspiration, they can positively shape their stories by fully activating their talents.
